What it's like to work with me?

First and foremost, I am a product designer. As such, I will bring a strong focus on the customer and push the rest of the team to weigh the end user in their decision-making as well. However, I pride myself on being a very approachable and adaptable designer, not a diva. I realize my perspective is one of many on the diverse team, and there are times when disagree-and-commit is warranted. I align my designs to match available implementation resources & timelines and handle changing requirements & priorities with ease. I thrive in collaborative environments, but with 15+ years’ experience under my belt from consultancies to in-house SaaS product teams, I can take the ball and run with it—from gathering & prioritizing feature requirements to product strategy, user research, UX copywriting, prototyping, and producing highly polished visual designs.

With my experience on Growth teams, I have strong business acumen and can align with the big picture and core KPIs, while working in a hypothesis-driven manner, executing A/B experiments across all surface areas of the product. That means I have total flex capabilities to work in short sprints or spend a quarter on research and strategy validation. I dial up or down my process and approach to what the project needs.

I’m curious and will ask a lot of questions; often introducing a perspective that others have not considered. I will seek out and participate in frank, direct conversations to cut to the chase.

I will also bring a sense of humor to the table and am not opposed to having a good time & enjoying the ride while working hard 😉
